The Gilded Desi Collective is about celebrating your individuality, your personality and the way you make a piece your own. Whether you have modelled before or have never stepped in front of a camera, you don't need to fit a particular mould. We simply want you to show up as yourself, wear something beautiful and enjoy the experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
I'm not a model. Can I still apply?
Absolutely. We are looking for women with genuine smiles, different styles, different ages, and genuine stories. No modelling experience is required.
I’m awkward in front of the camera. What if I don't know how to pose?
Almost everyone says this. You don’t need to know a thing. Just bring your favourite outfits and we will guide you through all the rest, from posing, to styling.
What if I’m too old for this or not photogenic?
There is no age limit on confidence. Jewellery doesn’t belong to a particular age group, and neither do style, presence and personality. Also, the right light, the right jewellery, and a little encouragement can completely change how you see yourself. Give it a try, and see how you feel by the end of this experience.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one. You will receive a complimentary jewellery piece, photos, and a change to be part of the community we are building. All we ask is your permission to feature some of those photos on Gilded Desi’s official website and social media.
